TCCA (chemical formula: C₃Cl₃N₃O₃) is a strong chlorinating agent and disinfectant, commonly found as white crystalline powder or granules. It has good stability and a high effective chlorine content (≥90%). When dissolved in water, it slowly releases hypochlorous acid, and has bactericidal, bleaching, and algae-removing effects.
